Who: Apt C-2, anyone (especially fellow Apt-Cers)
When: Day 58, night (slightly backdated)
Where: Apt C-2 & hallway
What: MYhovercraft FLAT IS FULL OF EEL
[God knows how this feat was managed, but somehow an intrepid soul has managed to a) kill a 10-foot eel and b) drag the sodding thing back to Apt C-2. Mostly. There's a bit of tail sticking out the open door and into the corridor, which is causing a certain doctor no end of consternation.]

He did bring up a possibility I was hoping wouldn't be true.

Think about it, what would be the most obvious thing in common between those that lived in the world before and us now? I don't want to think about it either, but the same thought crossed my mind.
Do you suppose these priests would be able to get more information from the gods than we can?

[thinking really hard about this. also, this awkwardness is probably highly familiar. he's hiding something.]
Possibly, yes. I can - make some inquiries. With people.

I'm not supposed to tell anyone. Sherlock - both of them - is my exception.

It's what I think it is isnt it? And the reason you've been running yourself ragged?
no subject
... yes. My patron's a bit demanding. More like having a full-time job than anything else.

... It crept up on me. I - got used to being out searching for him night and day, and you were missing. Your Sherlock went missing for the better part of a week.

[a hand on John's shoulder] I know... This place has a way of getting to all of us. I can understand why you would choose that path.
no subject
I don't regret it. But ... you are right. None of us are alone here.

Now all we have to do is stay together.

We're right back to belling our cats.

I ... am having difficulty cutting back, now that I've worked up to this. Clinic and warning board and my priest duties and - making Sherlock eat, and all of that.
