What: MY ~~hovercraft~~ FLAT IS FULL OF EEL

[God knows how this feat was managed, but somehow an intrepid soul has managed to a) kill a 10-foot eel and b) drag the sodding thing back to Apt C-2. Mostly. There's a bit of tail sticking out the open door and into the corridor, which is causing a certain doctor no end of consternation.]

Who told you this was a disease?

[ he lifts an eye-lid, looking at her eyes ]

Zexion and Nova, I believe their names were. From the apartment neighboring us. They'd spoken to Dellen about it and received that description.

They're wrong. It's not a disease. Certainly not the contagious kind.

Something has affected their minds, completely bypassing any immune system. It's not a disease.

Then - why would the gods describe it as such? Why talk about cures?

Oh, there must be a cure, but I hesitate to use the word disease. Something is keeping a hold over their minds, subconsciously. Like a dream that never lets go.

Yes. As to be expected from the Gods. We cannot treat them unless we find a door into their minds and remove the ailment.
