[So, how many of you are using the threat of curious lizagons to stay inside? How many of you re bored yet?

[Maybe that's why Leedin has carted in a bunch of sand, and it's covering half of the clear floor on the north side of the floor. There's even plenty of colors -- white, grays and black, reds, oranges and yellows, pink and even a few patches of olive green and purple. ]

Well, a good guess is it's gonna go toward the effort of not having all of us get eaten by red lizagons.

But you don't know for certain.

She wasn't mentioned among the ones working on that problem.

Alma. All gods are working on that problem. We can't rebuild civilization if we're all in the belly of a lizagon.

I'm just kind of paranoid, I guess. I think everyone's going a bit stir-crazy stuck in here. I've been wondering if any of the gods would take advantage of that or not.

Oh no. Paranoid is a good thing to be. You should absolutely believe that there are gods that would take advantage of us.

How do we know they haven't called dragons here so they can herd us somewhere else?

We know nothing of this world--the place they want us to go could give them even more of an advantage over us...

They really do seem to enjoy forcing us to work with them.

But regardless of how they got here, we still have to deal with the dragons. And I wouldn't really recommend fighting them.

I bet if the gods gave us our full powers, that a huge of dumb dragons wouldn't be an issue for us.

You think they are withholding that on purpose?

I don't know. They very well could be.

In our own worlds, some of us were stronger than the gods are here.

What makes you think that?

In terms of physical brute strength against nature, yeah, some of us might be stronger at full power.

But could we kill a god or even harm one? Has anyone even tried?

I don't think they are actual "gods" they just call themselves that. They're just like powerful Innocence or Noah or something. Strong, but that doesn't make them untouchable. I've killed Noah before.

But they are tied into human consciousness. As long as humans still have need of that idea or domain, is it possible to get rid of one completely?

A few of them have disappeared.

Yeah. I was wondering about that.

I wonder if it has less to do with something offing them or more to do with us as a collective rejecting them.

... I wonder if we all stopped believing in them or whatever, that they would go away.

Not quite. It's not believing in them. They are like a representation of our collective consciousness. I think.

This is so different from the concept of higher power beings we had back home.

The God that our world answered to didn't seem to need people to believe. He was set on making us his warriors no matter our opinion or beliefs.

But you don't have to be a warrior anymore. You can do what you like.

We're still warriors--but less soldiers and more mercenaries sort of.
