What: MY ~~hovercraft~~ FLAT IS FULL OF EEL

[God knows how this feat was managed, but somehow an intrepid soul has managed to a) kill a 10-foot eel and b) drag the sodding thing back to Apt C-2. Mostly. There's a bit of tail sticking out the open door and into the corridor, which is causing a certain doctor no end of consternation.]

As you should be, but I suspect this is leading up to a point which I will not enjoy.

John and I have a puzzle we would like the two of you to invest some time in. Since you work do well together now as it seems.

I don't want to work with my doppleganger who never saw fit to keep himself in good physical shape and therefore, a prime target of uselessness.

This is worrying you. Normally, you don't spring suggestions on me so quickly.

...They're suggesting this was one of the reasons this whole place went the way of St. George.

Neither John nor I can make heads or tails of it. It mutates too quickly and even the gods don't have any good information to give.

This is why I warned people not to rely heavily on the Gods.

It's not like there were a flood of options, Holmes.

I am aware. But what if the Gods themselves are carriers? We have no way of diagnosing magic, after all.

I'm hoping to consider that as a last possibility. Because that means we have bigger problems than we thought.

But it should be considered. At any rate, let us see the patients first.

Because John and I are working on starting up our new clinic, which by the way, will be a great asset to this place. [looks quite happy about the clinic] And I know my own mental limitations compares to Sherlock.

Besides, I'll still be here for you to bounce things off of, figuratively and literally, I'm sure.

[shakes his head] I've been trying to read more and catch up, especially with all the bed rest but I still feel so terribly outdated. There's so much we didn't know back home.
